Abstract: Since the introduction of t-norms in the 1940s, significant theoretical achievements have been made in this field. The operator has been widely applied in multi-valued logic, decision-making, and intelligent control and remains a hot research topic in the academic community. This report will cover several aspects: the introduction of t-norms, formal research on t-norms, the study of t-norms on the unit interval, the study of t-norms on bounded lattices, and the research on the expansibility of t-norms.

  Biography of the Presenter:Liu Huawen, professor at the School of Mathematics, Shandong University, PhD supervisor. Research interests include uncertainty reasoning, non-classical mathematical logic, and information aggregation functions. He has made a series of progress in the fields of logical connectives, reasoning algorithms, and information aggregation, publishing over 140 academic papers in journals such as "IEEE Trans. Fuzzy Syst.", "Fuzzy Sets Syst.", "Inf. Sci.", "Eur. J. Oper. Res." His research achievements have won the second prize of the Shandong Province Natural Sciences Award (first place) and he has led multiple national and provincial natural science foundation projects. Major academic positions held: executive director of the Fuzzy Mathematics and Fuzzy Systems Committee of the Chinese System Engineering Society, council member of the Chinese Logic Society, vice-chairman of the Non-Classical Logic and Computing Special Committee of the Chinese Logic Society, member of the Artificial Intelligence Foundation Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. He has been appointed as a review expert for the "National Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Evaluation" and an expert for the "Subject Evaluation" by the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education, receiving awards for guiding excellent doctoral dissertations at Shandong University and for being an outstanding postgraduate advisor in Shandong Province and Shandong University
