On the afternoon of August 13, the signing ceremony of Hefei University of Technology - Huawei "Intelligent Base" Industry-Education Integration and Collaborative Education Base 2.0 was grandly held in the Lecture Hall of Huang Danian Tea House in Hefei. Zhu Lifeng, Director of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. Shanghai Research Institute, Xiong Zhangliang, Minister of the University System Department of Shanghai Research Institute, Cao Xinfang, Minister of the University and Scientific Research Talent Development Department, and 7 other main person in charge of the project attended the activity. Ding Lijian, Vice President of Hefei University of Technology, Kang Yu, Vice President, Zhang Li, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Xu Huajian, Vice Director of the Scientific Research Institute, Li Peipei, Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, and directors of various departments and teacher representatives attended the ceremony. The signing ceremony was presided over by Yang Yindong, Technical Cooperation Manager of the University System Department of Huawei Shanghai Research Institute.

In his speech, Director Zhu Lifeng said that it is hoped that on the basis of the previous cooperation of the "Intelligent Base" project, both sides will further expand the technical fields in the 2.0 stage, covering more students, teachers and courses. He emphasized that Huawei will continue to increase investment and focus on strengthening ecological construction, which not only serves the development of enterprises, but also cultivates more high-level talents for the country and society.

In his speech, Vice President Ding Lijian pointed out that the "Intelligent Base" project is of great significance in the construction of domestic industrial ecology and the cultivation of university talents, and the previous project has achieved remarkable results. It is hoped that Huawei will increase support in the 2.0 stage, expand the scope of cooperation, attract more schools to participate, and jointly contribute to the cultivation of talents in key national fields.

At the meeting, Wu Wenming, Assistant to the Dean of the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, made a comprehensive summary of the previous project. The project has achieved fruitful results from curriculum system construction, teacher training, teaching cooperation to extracurricular practice and certification examinations. The 2.0 stage will face new fields such as HarmonyOS, industrial software, Rust language and EDA, continue to deepen the integration of industry and education, and comprehensively improve students' technical ability and innovative literacy.

Then, Minister Cao Xinfang introduced the background and overall planning of the 2.0 stage of the "Intelligent Base" in detail. He pointed out that the new stage will expand to more technical fields, promote the upgrading of curriculum teaching to native innovation practice, promote the expansion of computer majors to interdisciplinary subjects, and extend undergraduate education to the postgraduate stage. The project will integrate multiple resources such as technology, courses, teaching materials, teaching aids and discipline competitions, covering more students, teachers and courses.

Finally, under the joint witness of Ding Lijian, Vice President of Hefei University of Technology, and Zhu Lifeng, Director of Huawei Shanghai Research Institute, Zhang Li, Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Hefei University of Technology, and Cao Xinfang, Minister of the University and Scientific Research Talent Development Department of Huawei, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of both sides. After the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the implementation plan, resource sharing, curriculum construction, teacher training and future development direction of the project cooperation.
