Report Title: Network Collaborative Measurement for End-to-End Cloud Architecture Reporter: Professor Cheng Guang

Unit: Southeast University

Report Time: 16:00-17:00 on June 23, 2023 (Friday)

Report Location: Fifth Meeting Room, First Floor, Emerald Science and Education Building A

Report Introduction:

The development of cloud and Software as a Service (SaaS) breaks the original business and application service model, and the integration of cloud and network becomes inevitable. The development of cloud and Software as a Service (SaaS) breaks the original business and application service model, increases network unreliability factors, changes the structure of the end-to-end digital supply chain, makes network failures difficult to locate quickly, and user experience cannot be guaranteed. The end-edge cloud network is formed by the combination of edge computing, distributed computing and other technology stacks. It is a loosely coupled distributed network architecture composed of end devices, edge side and cloud center interconnected through the network. The end-edge cloud network brings new challenges such as resource constraints, data locality, information diversity, intelligence timeliness, global threat, and situation concealment, which increases the difficulty of network measurement and traffic analysis. This report will focus on how to discuss the collaborative measurement of the end-edge cloud architecture network.
