The 'Huawei Intelligent Base Teaching Award' and 'Huawei Intelligent Base Scholarship' are social donation funds for teaching and studying established by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. in our college. According to the Hefei University of Technology-Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. Intelligent Base Cooperation Agreement, the selection of the Huawei Intelligent Base Teaching Award and Scholarship for 2023 is now underway. The specific selection targets, conditions, numbers, and methods are as follows:

I. Selection Targets

The 'Huawei Intelligent Base Teaching Award' rewards teachers from the School of Computer and Information who participate in the Intelligent Base cooperation courses.

The 'Huawei Intelligent Base Scholarship' rewards full-time undergraduates from the School of Computer and Information (Hefei Campus and Xuancheng Campus). Note: Each student can only receive the Huawei Intelligent Base Scholarship once. Students who have already received the Huawei Intelligent Base Scholarship in 2021 and 2022 cannot apply again.

II. Selection Conditions

2.1 Teaching Award Selection Conditions

Teachers applying for the Huawei Intelligent Base Teaching Award must be lecturers participating in the Huawei Intelligent Base cooperation courses. Other bonus items can be found in the '2023 Intelligent Base Scholarship and Teaching Award Selection Criteria' (Annex I).

2.2 Scholarship Selection Conditions

(1) Love the socialist motherland, support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and comply with national laws, regulations, and various rules and regulations of the school.

(2) Diligent in study, hardworking, good professional performance, strong practical and innovative abilities, good at applying learned knowledge to solve practical problems, and comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor.

(3) Unite classmates and have a good team spirit.

(4) Actively participate in public service and cultural and sports activities organized by the school and college.

(5) Must have participated in the Intelligent Base course (course list see Annex II) and achieved excellent results;

(6) Complete the corresponding assessment: Comprehensive assessment of online courses in the Kunpeng/Ascend direction is greater than or equal to 1 OR Huawei Cloud direction micro-certification is greater than or equal to 2 OR at least 1 Huawei HCIX certification;

(7) Bonus items: The bonus items for applying for the Huawei Intelligent Base Scholarship can be found in the '2023 Intelligent Base Scholarship and Teaching Award Selection Criteria' (Annex I).

III. Selection Quota and Prize Money

The Huawei Intelligent Base Teaching Award will select 5 people, each awarded 10,000 yuan (before tax).

The Huawei Intelligent Base Scholarship will select 30 people, each awarded 5,000 yuan (before tax).

IV. Review Method

(1) The Huawei Intelligent Base Teaching Award is applied for by the teacher himself/herself, filling out the 'Huawei Intelligent Base Teaching Award Application Form' (see Attachment Three), and the relevant application materials in paper form should be handed in to A-806, Jade Science and Education Building before October 15th. At the same time, the electronic version of the materials should be sent to the designated email: jhli@hfut.edu.cn. The naming method for the email and files is: Name - Huawei Intelligent Base Teaching Award Application Materials.

(2) The Huawei Intelligent Base Scholarship is applied for by the student himself/herself, filling out the 'Hefei University of Technology Social Donation Scholarship Application Approval Form' (see Attachment Four), and the 'Second Classroom Transcript', academic transcript and other relevant award proof materials in paper form should be handed in to the counselors of each grade before October 15th. At the same time, the electronic version of the materials should be sent to the designated email: hfutjsjxszj@163.com. The naming method for the email and files is: Name - Huawei Intelligent Base Scholarship Application Materials.

(3) The college establishes a Huawei Intelligent Base Teaching Award and Scholarship Review Working Group to review and evaluate the applicant's materials, determine the proposed award list, and publicize it for 3 days.

(4) Award certificates and prize money will be issued.
