Notice on Holding the 19th School Students' Career Planning Competition of Hefei University of Technology and the School-level Selection Competition of the 3rd National School Students' Career Planning Competition of the School of Computer Science and Inf

To all students:

To strengthen career education and employment guidance in universities and promote high-quality and full employment, in accordance with the requirements of the Notice on Holding the 3rd National School Students' Career Planning Competition (Jiao Xue Han [2025] No.2) issued by the Ministry of Education, the school decides to hold the 19th School Students' Career Planning Competition of Hefei University of Technology and the school-level selection competition of the 3rd National School Students' Career Planning Competition in November 2025. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

I. Theme of the Competition

Pursue Dreams in Youth, Aspire to Go Everywhere; Plan for a Take-off, Career Leads the Future

II. Objectives of the Competition

Strive to build the competition into a big classroom for strengthening career education, a big platform for promoting the connection between talent supply and demand, and a big market for serving graduates' employment. Through holding the competition, we will better realize the goal of "promoting learning through competition", guide school students to establish a correct view of talent development, employment and career choice, scientifically and rationally plan their academic and career development, and improve their employment competitiveness; "promote teaching through competition", promote universities to strengthen career education and provide solid and detailed employment guidance services; "promote employment through competition", extensively mobilize the participation of industries, enterprises and universities, promote the effective connection between talent supply and demand, and fully promote the high-quality employment of school graduates.

III. Competition Content

(I) Main Competition

Including the Growth Track and the Employment Track, among which the Employment Track is divided into the Undergraduate Group and the Postgraduate Group.

1. Growth Track

Mainly for undergraduate students in non-graduating grades (freshmen, sophomores, juniors). It assesses their growth process of establishing the concept of career development, setting reasonable career goals, taking continuous actions around the realization of goals and making constant adjustments, improving their comprehensive quality and professional ability through learning and practice, and reflecting a correct view of career choice and employment. (See Annex 1 for details)

2. Employment Track

For senior undergraduate students (seniors) planning to seek employment (excluding graduating students who have confirmed further study through postgraduate recommendation, etc.) and postgraduates. It assesses their practical job-hunting ability, the matching degree between their personal comprehensive quality, professional ability and the target occupation, and the adaptability between their personal development path and the demand of the employment market. (See Annex 2 for details)

(II) Concurrent Activities

A series of activities such as school-enterprise supply and demand docking and employment education will be held during the school-level competition.

IV. Competition System

The competition adopts a three-level system of university-level preliminary contest, university-level semi-final and university-level final.

1. University-level Preliminary Contest (i.e., School-level Selection Competition)

Organized by each school, each grade shall recommend excellent students to participate in the on-site defense of the school-level selection competition according to the registration situation. The school shall organize expert judges to evaluate the participating contestants, and set the first, second and third prizes according to the number of participants based on the evaluation results, with the winning results recorded in the Second Classroom Transcript.

2. University-level Semi-final

Based on the number of on-site participants divided by track and group, 30% of the contestants shall be selected to enter the final according to the ranking of competition results (rounded up by the "rounding up method", the same below). Contestants who fail to enter the final shall be awarded the university-level Bronze Award.

3. University-level Final

Based on the on-site participants divided by track and group, the top 20% of the contestants according to the ranking of competition results shall be awarded the university-level Gold Award, and the other contestants shall be awarded the university-level Silver Award.

V. Competition Schedule

1. Registration (Early November 2025)

Contestants shall register through the National School Students' Career Planning Competition Platform (hereinafter referred to as the Competition Platform, website: zgs.chsi.com.cn), and the Student Operation Manual can be downloaded on the login page of the Competition Platform.

2. School-level Selection Competition (Mid-November 2025)

Scheduled to be held in the early and middle of November 2025. After completing the school-level selection competition, the school shall select and recommend contestants for the university-level semi-final according to the quota of the university-level semi-final allocated by the university. (The specific time, venue and competition form will be notified separately in the school-level competition exchange group.)

3. University-level Semi-final and Final (Late November 2025)

Contestants participating in the university-level semi-final and final will compete for various awards through on-site competition. The specific arrangements for on-site competition and concurrent activities will be notified separately. After the final, the university will select and recommend contestants for the provincial competition.

VI. Competition Requirements

1. Contestants must be current students. Each contestant shall choose one eligible track to register for the competition according to their own conditions. Contestants who won the Gold Award and Silver Award in the national final of previous competitions are not allowed to register for the original track again.

2. Contestants shall fill in the registration information accurately on the Competition Platform as required, and the submitted materials shall adhere to the principle of authenticity and shall not contain illegal or irregular content, otherwise their competition qualification and awards will be cancelled, and they shall bear corresponding legal liabilities.

3. Contestants are requested to join the school-level competition QQ notification group: 759962093, and send the competition materials and Annex 3 Registration Form to the email address: computer_graduate@163.com before November 9 as a compressed file named "Student ID + Name + Track".
