Release time:2025-04-28 clicks:

Practical teaching components, such as curriculum design, play a crucial role in students’ development, directly impacting their employability, self-confidence, and career growth.

To further strengthen curriculum design and ensure the foundational competencies of our professional talent training meet standards, our school has launched the third "Golden Course" Curriculum Design Initiative in 2025. Through voluntary applications, presentations, and a competitive selection process, two courses have been chosen for this round:

"Information System Software Design" (for Electronic Information Engineering majors)

"Integrated Communication System Design" (for Electronic Information Engineering majors)

On April 28, our school held the signing ceremony for the third edition of the "Golden Course" program.

Information System Software Design

Integrated Communication System Design

Key Features of the "Golden Course" Curriculum Design:

1. Strong Faculty-Student Team Structure

Instruction is delivered by a 6-7 member faculty course team, supported by 3 student teaching assistants.

A high-caliber teaching team serves as the foundation for course quality.

2. Complex Engineering Problem-Solving Focus

Project topics are designed to reflect real-world engineering challenges, integrating multiple technical disciplines with significant complexity and difficultyembodying the principles of "high-level, innovative, and challenging".

3. Extended, Pedagogically Structured Cycle

The course follows a rigorous, phased process: project assignment, preparatory learning, intensive practice, and final evaluation.

Emphasizes progressive learning, hands-on application, and innovation.

4. Dedicated Student Support

Comprehensive guidance is provided, from online Q&A (e.g., via QQ group) to in-person debugging assistance in labs.

Ensures students feel valued and supported throughout the process.

5. Strict Evaluation with Zero Left Behind

Implements meticulous assessment protocols to eliminate superficial participation ("free-riding").

Guarantees every student gain practical experience and essential project skills. The school will conduct teaching supervision to evaluate: instructional workload and quality and course objective attainment. Based on the assessment, workload subsidies will be allocated.

Results will serve as a key metric for teaching performance in faculty promotion evaluations.
