On the afternoon of April 26, 2025, the 21st Hefei University of Technology Programming Competition, co-sponsored by the University's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center, the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, the School of Software and the CCF Student Branch of Hefei University of Technology, was successfully held in the computer room of Building C at the Feicuihu Campus. The competition was open to all undergraduate students of the university, and more than 70 students from 9 majors of 5 schools signed up to participate.

This year's competition adopted an on-site competition format, lasting for 3 hours with a total of 6 questions. The programs submitted for solving the problems were scored by an automatic judging program, and only the submissions that passed all the test data of each question were regarded as valid submissions, otherwise time penalties would be imposed. The correctness of the submitted programs was fed back to the participants in a timely manner by the judging system through the network. After 3 hours of intense competition, a total of 45 students submitted codes that met the requirements of the competition questions. Among them, 4 students won the first prize, 9 won the second prize and 14 won the third prize. The winning students of this competition will have the opportunity to represent the university in the 2025 Anhui School Students Programming Competition (Anhui Robot Competition - Programming Track) and the School Students Programming Competition (ICPC/CCPC).

After the successful conclusion of the competition, the school will arrange training courses and team training for the selected students to participate in subsequent higher-level competitions. The successful holding of this competition has not only injected new vitality into the scientific and technological innovation activities on campus, but also built a practical stage for the majority of students to show and exercise their programming ability.
