On June 6, 2025, the school held a Seminar on the Innovative Development of Industry Alumni Work in Conference Room A1106 of the Science and Education Building. Gao Baiqing, Secretary-General of the Automotive Industry Alumni Association, and outstanding industry alumni representatives Duan Zhangling, Wei Yutao and Xia Maochun were invited to visit. Nian Yongqi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, He Qingling, Member of the Organization Department at the department level, Zhang Hailin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Wang Hui, Vice Dean of the school, attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by He Qingling.

Nian Yongqi introduced the main achievements of the current school work, emphasized the key significance of alumni work and school-enterprise cooperation for the development of the school, and expected the alumni association to focus on the industrial needs of the school, build a resource bridge and help the development of the school. He Qingling analyzed the interdependent and symbiotic relationship among alumni, universities and enterprises, pointing out that the coordinated progress of the three parties can achieve win-win development. From the perspective of student work, Zhang Hailin talked about suggestions and hopes for the school's alumni work. Wang Hui introduced the progress and existing difficulties of the school's alumni work, and hoped that alumni and the school would jointly promote the further development of alumni work.

In the subsequent exchange session, the two sides had a heated discussion around the topics. Industry alumni shared the technical innovation bottlenecks and talent shortage problems faced by enterprises, and believed that promoting alumni work can realize resource sharing, complementary advantages, joint efforts to overcome technical difficulties and promote industrial upgrading.

This seminar has opened up a new situation for the in-depth cooperation between the school and industry alumni. In the future, the school will strengthen communication and cooperation with industry alumni, explore new models and paths for alumni work, and promote the all-round development of the school's alumni work.
