Recently, the general education course "Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence", a key course built by our school, was launched on the National Smart Education Platform. Previously, the course has been launched on the Xueyin Online Platform and the China University MOOC Platform successively, with more than 2,800 students enrolled and a cumulative visit volume of more than 14 million times.

In September this year, the course will be offered to all non-computer majors of the university, realizing full coverage of AI literacy ability training; at that time, the course will also share resources in A9 Alliance universities, and the expected number of enrolled students will exceed 30,000 per year.

"Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence" is a compulsory general education course offered to non-computer major students. In addition to introducing the concept, development, basic principles, ethics and regulations of artificial intelligence, and the use of common large model tools, the course also introduces typical cases of the application of artificial intelligence methods in various majors, allowing students to feel the main application modes of artificial intelligence and lay an important ability and quality foundation for future study and work - artificial intelligence thinking.
