With the rapid development and wide application of artificial intelligence technology, universities across the country are exploring effective ways to cultivate future artificial intelligence professionals. Against this background, our school has actively explored, encouraged a group of undergraduate students to carry out practice and innovation in the field of generative artificial intelligence under the leadership of the teacher research team, and focused on building the "Electronic Information Professional Engine".
On August 30, 2025, in the No.4 Conference Room of the Feicui Science and Education Building, the school held a grand launch conference for the completion of the Electronic Information Professional Engine. Zhang Li, Director of the Academic Affairs Office of our university, Xia Na, Deputy Director, all members of the school leadership team, directors of various departments, professional person in charge, teachers who participated in student guidance, as well as more than 160 teachers and students interested in this activity attended the launch conference. The conference was presided over by Hong Richang, Dean of our school.
At the launch conference, the promotional video of the Electronic Information Professional Engine was played first; then the unveiling ceremony of the professional engine was held; immediately after, Wu Wenjie (Communication Engineering major of Hefei University of Technology) and Xia Tongchuan (Software Engineering major of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications), representatives of the student team, demonstrated the main functions of the professional engine; after the collective appearance of the student team, Zhang Li, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, highly praised the various measures of our school in the cultivation of top innovative talents, and hoped that our school would make more exemplary work in the digital transformation of education; Hong Richang, Dean, thanked the Academic Affairs Office for its support for the teaching reform work of our school, and called on everyone to continue to explore and innovate on the track of AI empowering higher education, helping the high-quality development of artificial intelligence education in our university.




The designed "Electronic Information Professional Engine" (professional large model) has four major functions:
1. Intelligent Q&A: Professional knowledge Q&A
2. Test Point Push: Push common exam questions for knowledge points
3. Learning Situation Feedback: Classification and analysis of student questions
4. Scientific Research Assistant: Assistance in the writing of scientific research papers
The important significance of this work:
1.Completed by the undergraduate student team as the main R&D force, it has a prominent educational role and explores an effective way to cultivate artificial intelligence professionals;
2.The technical implementation is carried out based on the computing power platform of Huawei Ascend 910 processor, so it is a very meaningful practice in the localization of AI technology and also helps to improve the relevant technical ecology;
3.The professional engine can assist students in self-study and exam preparation, and at the same time provide teachers with important learning situation feedback, providing important support for precise teaching and optimizing teaching effects!
