On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of Hefei University of Technology, to further improve the quality of talent work and give full play to the leading role of talents, the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering held a High-end Talent Development Forum on the afternoon of October 6. Chen Xu, Vice President of Fujian Bosssoft Co., Ltd., Nian Yongqi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Wang Hui, Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, and the selected scholars of the Bosssoft Chair Professor and Young Scholars Program of the school attended the forum, which was hosted by Nian Yongqi.

At the beginning of the forum, Chen Xu, on behalf of Fujian Bosssoft Co., Ltd., read out the decision on approving the candidates for the Bosssoft Chair Professor and Young Scholars Program of the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering and issued the appointment letters to the selected candidates.

In the subsequent discussion and exchange session, all the selected candidates introduced their personal basic information and future research plans. Chen Xu and the teachers conducted in-depth discussions and reached a consensus on the innovation of artificial intelligence technology, the organic combination of basic research and application needs, and the transformation of innovative achievements, further clarifying the future direction of cooperation.

The participants also held specific discussions on cutting-edge research fields such as AI procurement strategies and data element governance, exchanged views on possible cooperation entry points, and laid a good foundation for in-depth collaboration in the follow-up.
