On the afternoon of September 28, a delegation from Anhui Science and Technology Press, including Chen Jun, Deputy Director, Huang Xuan, Director, He Jiayi, Assistant Director, and Xu Shuaixiang, Product Manager, visited the International Science and Technology Cooperation Base for Smart Elderly Care of the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering of Hefei University of Technology. They held a forum and exchange with Wu Gongqing, Vice Dean of the school, Professor Yang Jing, Executive Deputy Director of the base, Professor Guo Yanrong, Chief Scientist of the base, Associate Professor Yang Jiaoyun, Deputy Director of the base, and Associate Professor Li Jia, to jointly explore a new cooperation and development model in the field of smart elderly care.

At the forum, the school focused on introducing the development history and research directions of the "Senior Well-being Technology Laboratory", and demonstrated the under-development "Digital Narrative" mini-program and its methodological framework. The mini-program aims to alleviate the loneliness and mental health problems of the elderly through life course recording and intelligent analysis, and provide more comprehensive background information and personalized service support for nursing staff.

Representatives of Anhui Science and Technology Press introduced the press's practical experience in recent years in the digitalization of elderly health content, the launch of e-books and the construction of the "Happy Age Listening" platform. They emphasized that the press has a huge user base and content communication channels, which can provide strong promotion and data support for the digital narrative mini-program. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as the entrusted development of the mini-program, the construction of popular science bases, content cooperation in smart elderly care, and the pilot launch and experience in nursing homes and hospitals, and exchanged views on product function optimization, user experience improvement, operation mechanism and talent training.

This visit has laid a solid foundation for the in-depth cooperation between the two sides in the field of smart elderly care technology, and the two sides have initially reached a strategic cooperation intention. The School of Computer Science and Information Engineering of Hefei University of Technology and Anhui Science and Technology Press will further integrate resources, give play to their respective advantages, jointly build a demonstration project of smart elderly care, promote the transformation of scientific research achievements, and contribute to improving the quality of life of the elderly and the construction of Healthy China.
