To further promote the integration of industry and education and help undergraduates gain an in-depth understanding of the cutting-edge technologies of intelligent robots and their application scenarios, on the morning of December 8, 2025, the Department of Information and Communication invited Researcher Yu Zhenzhong from Hefei Institute of Intelligent Robots to give an industrial course entitled Discussion on Intelligent Robots and Their Industrialization Path to the undergraduate students of the 2024 grade majoring in Communication Engineering of our school in Classroom 208 of Cuiwu Building, Emerald Lake Campus.
Intelligent robot technology is an important part of modern science and technology, which integrates the essence of many fields such as artificial intelligence, computer science and mechanical engineering. The key technologies of intelligent robots include: multi-sensor information fusion, navigation and positioning, micro-sensors and intelligent sensors, path planning, machine learning, natural language processing and so on. The development of these technologies has not only improved the intelligent level of robots, but also played an important role in many fields such as medical care, manufacturing and services.
In this course, Researcher Yu Zhenzhong mainly introduced the specific contents of embodied intelligence and the industrial chain of intelligent robots, from robot complete machines and their hardware accessories, software to the corresponding system integration and service functions; from different perception technologies, cognitive technologies, decision-making technologies to relevant execution technologies such as motion control technology, power system technology and interaction technology. At the same time, he explained and discussed the classification methods, development history, composition of key technologies, service fields, the next development trends and technical industrialization path methods of intelligent robots in a simple and in-depth way. The course was lively and vivid, which greatly stimulated the students' enthusiasm for learning robot technology and scientific research interest. At the same time, the students began to think about the connection between the courses of communication major and robot-related technologies, which inspired their learning enthusiasm.
