Recently, the IEEE Computer Society, the world's largest professional technical organization in the computer field, officially announced the list of the 2025 "Top 30 Early Career Professionals in Computing". Professor Li Meng of our school was successfully selected for his innovative contributions in the field of information security.
This authoritative award aims to select and recognize future stars who have made outstanding early achievements in the field of computing science and engineering and demonstrated excellent leadership and innovative potential worldwide. It is reported that the selection this year was extremely competitive, and the jury finally selected 30 young elites from academia and industry from numerous outstanding candidates around the world. This award is not only the highest recognition of the winner's early career achievements, but also provides a valuable platform for them to communicate with international top peers and further lead the future of technology. This selection fully demonstrates the increasing influence and competitiveness of young scientific researchers of our school in the international frontiers of computing.
Professor Li Meng has long been committed to research work in the fields of data circulation, Internet of Vehicles, data security, privacy protection, applied cryptography and blockchain. In recent years, he has made in-depth efforts in scientific research and achieved fruitful results. Up to now, Professor Li Meng has published a total of 52 academic papers in CCF Class A international top conferences and journals such as IEEE S&P, USENIX Security, ACM MobiCom, IEEE INFOCOM, ACM ISSTA, TDSC, TIFS, ToN, TMC, TKDE, TODS, TPDS, TSE and TSC. He was also selected into the list of the world's top 2% scientists from 2021 to 2024, and won the 2025 IEEE TCSVC Rising Star Award, the 2024 IEEE HITC Early Career Achievement Award, the 2021 ACM China Hefei Chapter Rising Star Award and the 2022 Outstanding Young Scientist of Anhui Computer Society. He also serves as an associate editor of CCF Class A journals in the field of network and information security TIFS and TDSC, and a senior member of IEEE, China Computer Federation, China Institute of Electronics, China Institute of Communications and China Cryptography Society.
Professor Li Meng's selection is not only a personal honor, but also an important embodiment of the achievements of the school's faculty team construction and young talent training, which will further inspire teachers and students of our school to keep climbing new heights on the road of scientific research and innovation.
