Recently, the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) officially announced the list of selected projects for the 2025 CAAI Incentive Program. The project From General Education to Co-creation: A Full-Link Solution for Domestic Artificial Intelligence Talent Cultivation, led by Professor Xia Na and co-completed by Professor Guo Dan, Professor Wang Meng, and other team members, has been successfully selected as a First-Class Achievement in the Teaching Achievement Incentive Program. This selection fully demonstrates our school’s profound accumulation and innovative strength in the field of artificial intelligence talent cultivation.
It is reported that the 2025 CAAI Incentive Program focuses on advancing the reform of intelligent education and improving the quality of talent cultivation, covering four major sectors: teaching achievements, doctoral dissertations, popular science works, and enterprise technological innovation. After three rounds of rigorous review and evaluation, the final list of selected projects across all sectors was finalized. The program is designed to boost the development of AI talent cultivation, education, science popularization and enterprise innovation in China, support the improvement of intelligent education standards and the construction of a scientific and technological talent echelon, and its selection results boast extremely high industry authority and guiding significance.
The selected project From General Education to Co-creation: A Full-Link Solution for Domestic Artificial Intelligence Talent Cultivation is completed mainly by Hefei University of Technology and recommended by the Anhui Association for Artificial Intelligence. Centering on the pain points and practical demands of domestic artificial intelligence talent cultivation, the project has built a full-process cultivation system covering general education, professional training and university-enterprise collaboration. It breaks down traditional disciplinary barriers, promotes the precise docking of AI education with industrial needs, and provides a replicable and scalable solution to address the problems of "talent gap" and "disconnection" in domestic AI talent cultivation.
The selection of this project as a first-class achievement in the CAAI Teaching Achievement Incentive Program is not only a high recognition of our university’s talent cultivation work by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, but also a vital achievement of the university’s continuous deepening of education and teaching reform. Taking this selection as a valuable opportunity, our school’s teaching team will further optimize and improve the full-link solution for domestic artificial intelligence talent cultivation, deepen teaching reform and practical innovation, give full play to the project’s demonstration and leading role, and promote the implementation and wide popularization of the project achievements.
