To encourage active participation in the front line of scientific research and development, accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological innovation achievements into real productive forces, and strive to write a youthful chapter of striving for the Chinese path to modernization, after research, our school decides to hold the in-school selection competition of the 19th "Challenge Cup" Competition and the 2025 China Youth Science and Technology Innovation "Problem Tackling with Open Bidding" Challenge. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
1. Competition Introduction
This year's "Problem Tackling with Open Bidding" Challenge highlights scientific and technological innovation, focusing on cutting-edge fields such as the new generation of information technology, artificial intelligence, new energy, new materials, high-end equipment, robots, biomedicine, and seed industry technology, and carefully selected 122 competition topics. It has set up main challenge venues in 8 cities (districts) with relatively complete industrial chains and concentrated industrial development in relevant fields as the venues for the concentrated challenge and exchange display of works on competition topics in relevant fields. The number of competition topics, competition scale and reward conditions have reached the highest in previous sessions.

3. Participants
This competition sets up two tracks for school students and young scientific and technological talents respectively.
(1)Student Track
Full-time non-adult education school students, undergraduate students, postgraduate students and doctoral students (excluding on-the-job postgraduate students) officially registered in various institutions of higher education before June 1, 2025 can declare works to participate in the competition through the student track. The age of participants is under 40 years old, i.e., born on or after June 1, 1985.
There is no limit on the number of works selected by each school to participate in the "Problem Tackling with Open Bidding" Challenge, but the same work shall not participate in the evaluation of other tracks of the 19th "Challenge Cup" National School Students' Extracurricular Academic and Technological Works Competition (hereinafter referred to as the 19th "Challenge Cup" Competition) at the same time.
All students are welcome to participate in the competition actively. The school will cooperate with the university to arrange relevant teachers to provide guidance and support for the participating teams.
(2)Young Scientific and Technological Talents Track
Young scientific and technological workers in the school with high enthusiasm for scientific research and strong scientific research ability can declare works to participate in the competition through the young scientific and technological talents track. The age of participants is under 40 years old, i.e., born on or after June 1, 1985. For specific eligibility requirements, please refer to the relevant provisions of the organizing committee.
4. Competition Time Arrangement
(1)Topic Bidding Registration Time: From now until June 30
(2)Research and Development Challenge Time: June-August, participating teams will focus on scientific research and development and submit works in accordance with the requirements of the topic releasing units.
(3)Preliminary Review by the Organizing Committee: Late August to mid-September
(4)Final Challenge Time: Late September to mid-October
5. Award Evaluation and Rewards
A number of special prizes, first prizes, second prizes and third prizes will be set up in this competition, and excellent works will be selected to participate in the university and provincial competitions.
6. Relevant Requirements
(1)Registration Time: From now until June 25, 2025

7. Work Submission and Relevant Competition Policies
(1)Interested teams shall send the electronic version of the work materials (including the work application form) and the intention registration summary form to jsjkjcxzx2024@163.com before June 25, with the file name as "Student ID-Name-Work for the 'Problem Tackling with Open Bidding' Challenge".
(2)Each participating team shall register for the competition according to the setting of competition topics. Participating teams can log in to the competition system through the official website of the "Challenge Cup" (https://2025.tiaozhanbei.net/), register an account, fill in the registration form, and carry out project development and achievement submission in accordance with the requirements of the topic releasing units.
