In accordance with the Notice on Allocating the Quotas of Central University National Scholarships and Grants for 2025 (Jiazhu Zhongxin [2025] No.18) issued by the Ministry of Education, the Measures for the Administration of Student Financial Aid Funds (Cai Jiao [2021] No.310), and the university's Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Evaluation of National Scholarships for Postgraduates in 2025, the arrangements for the selection of the 2025 National Scholarship for Postgraduates of the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering are hereby notified as follows:
I. Schedule of Evaluation
1. By September 19: Students shall fill in the Application and Approval Form for National Scholarship for Postgraduates (Annex 2) and the Letter of Commitment for Applying for National Scholarship (Annex 4), submit applications to the school along with relevant supporting materials (the deadline for material submission is 17:30 on September 19, all materials shall be based on work completed during the study period; late submission shall be deemed as automatic waiver). Hard copies shall be submitted to Room A1101, Science and Education Building; electronic copies shall be sent to the email address: computer_graduate@163.com, with the naming format: Name + Student ID + Master/PhD + National Scholarship Application.
2. By September 28: The school shall collect, sort out and review the application materials, and organize the applicants to participate in the defense (the specific venue and time of the defense will be notified separately).
3. By October 14: The working meeting of the National Scholarship Evaluation Committee of the school shall examine and approve the recommended candidates for the National Scholarship and make them public for 5 working days.
II. Notes on the Evaluation
1. Submit two hard copies of Annex 2 and Annex 4, five hard copies of other annex materials, and one electronic copy. All academic research achievements and various awards must be accompanied by supporting documents, such as copies of competition award certificates, proof of CCF-recommended journal classification (Class A, B, C, Annex 5), explanation of the university's designated 178 papers (Annex 6), etc. Electronic versions of all the above supporting documents must be provided for review.
Notes:
(1) For applicants who have previously won the National Scholarship for Postgraduates or the Dean's Scholarship, their research achievements used for the previous awards shall not be included in the application materials for this scholarship.
(2) Research achievements without supporting documents shall be deemed non-existent.
(3) Applicants who falsify materials or are found to have academic misconduct during the evaluation shall be disqualified from all evaluation activities during their postgraduate study, including the National Scholarship for Postgraduates, Academic Scholarship for Postgraduates, Outstanding Graduate, etc., and corresponding liabilities for academic misconduct shall be pursued.
2. The on-site defense mainly includes the following two sessions: (1) Students give a PPT presentation on their academic research, practical experience, awards and other achievements during the study period. (2) Defense experts raise questions based on the students' presentations. The entire on-site defense is open to the public, with a total of 6 minutes for each student, including 3 minutes for the personal PPT presentation and 3 minutes for expert Q&A.
