To further strengthen the cultural construction of the student community, enrich the cultural life of school students' dormitories, and create a positive, helpful and friendly dormitory cultural atmosphere, the school decides to hold the school-level selection competition of the 2025-2026 Academic Year Dormitory Culture Design Competition and "Most Beautiful Dormitory" Selection Activity of the Student Community of Hefei University of Technology in accordance with the requirements of the Notice on Holding the 2025-2026 Academic Year Dormitory Culture Design Competition and "Most Beautiful Dormitory" Selection Activity of the Student Community of Hefei University of Technology. The specific contents are hereby notified as follows:

I. Theme of the Activity

Eighty Splendid Years, Youth Meets in the Dormitory

II. Participants

Undergraduate students of Grade 2024 and Grade 2025 of the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering (School of Artificial Intelligence)

III. Activity Content

1. Closely around the activity theme of "Eighty Splendid Years, Youth Meets in the Dormitory", select a suitable style for the dormitory theme cultural layout according to the spatial layout of the dormitory and the personal strengths of the dormitory members. The recommended themes include but are not limited to "Patriotism", "Honoring the University", "Art", "Learning", "Science and Technology", "Sports", etc.

2. Design a dormitory culture (honor) display area to show the demeanor of members, formulate and post the "Model Dormitory Convention", and encourage the shooting of promotional videos.

IV. Material Submission

1. Fill in the Registration Form for the "Most Beautiful Dormitory" Selection Competition of the Student Community of Hefei University of Technology (see Annex 2), named as: Dormitory Number - Registration Form for the Most Beautiful Dormitory, e.g.: 8#N101 - Registration Form for the Most Beautiful Dormitory.

2. Fill in the School Recommendation Summary Form for the "Most Beautiful Dormitory" Selection Competition of the Student Community of Hefei University of Technology (see Annex 3), named as: Dormitory Number - Summary Form for the Most Beautiful Dormitory, e.g.: 8#N101 - Summary Form for the Most Beautiful Dormitory.

3. Provide 5-8 photos of the whole dormitory (must include a set of comparison photos of the dormitory before and after decoration, at least one photo of the most beautiful desk, one photo of the demeanor display area, and a copy of the "Model Dormitory Convention"). The pictures shall be named as: Dormitory Number - Photos of the Most Beautiful Dormitory - Before/After/The Most Beautiful Desk/Demeanor Display/Dormitory Convention, e.g.: 8#N101 - Before Dormitory Decoration, 8#N101 - After Dormitory Decoration, 8#N101 - The Most Beautiful Desk, 8#N101 - Demeanor Display, 8#N101 - Dormitory Convention, etc.

4. Submit the promotional video if available, named as: Dormitory Number - Video Name (self-defined).

Please pack and send the above materials to the email address: jsjqyfw@163.com before November 24, with the email subject and compressed package named as: Dormitory Number - Materials for the Most Beautiful Dormitory Selection Competition, e.g.: 8#N101 - Materials for the Most Beautiful Dormitory Selection Competition. The dormitory monitor shall join the QQ notification group: 873724922.

V. Selection and Recommendation

The school will set up a special evaluation panel, and select exemplary dormitories through a combination of on-site inspection and offline defense, and recommend them to participate in the university-level selection. The specific time will be notified separately in the activity QQ group.

VI. Notes

1. The evaluation criteria refer to the Evaluation Rules for the 2025-2026 Academic Year Dormitory Culture Design Competition and "Most Beautiful Dormitory" Selection Activity of the Student Community of Hefei University of Technology (see Annex 1). In accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Students of Hefei University of Technology and the Relevant Regulations on the Administration of Student Apartments of Hefei University of Technology, if the members of the participating dormitory violate the relevant management regulations of the university, their competition qualification will be cancelled.

2. The declared materials and defense content must be true, and any fraud is strictly prohibited. Once found, the competition qualification will be cancelled.

3. The dormitories commended in this competition will be publicized and displayed in a combination of online and offline forms after the competition.
