To promote the construction of a good academic atmosphere and create a strong atmosphere of scientific and technological innovation, it is decided to hold the 2nd Freshman Programming Competition of the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering (School of Artificial Intelligence). The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

I. Scope of Participants

All undergraduate freshmen of Grade 2025 of the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering (School of Artificial Intelligence)

II. Competition Form

Individual participation, computer-based operation. The competition includes several programming questions, with a competition duration of 5 hours. Participants are required to complete the questions within the specified time, and the ranking is based on the comprehensive evaluation of the number of solved questions, solving time and penalty points for wrong submissions. The programming language is C/C++.

III. Competition Procedures and Schedule

1. Registration Time: From now until December 10, 2025.

2. Registration Method: Join the notification QQ group: 1005735299.

3. Competition Time and Venue: To be notified separately in the QQ group. If the number of registrants is too large, an online preliminary contest may be organized to select students to participate in the on-site contest.

4. Outstanding performers in the competition will be given priority to be recommended to the university-level freshman programming competition.

IV. Award Setting

Several first, second and third prizes will be set up in this competition, and the competition results will be recorded in the "Scientific and Technological Innovation" module of the Second Classroom Transcript.
