Notice on Holding the 22nd University Programming Competition and Selection for the 2026 Anhui Provincial Competition

To enhance the atmosphere of scientific and technological innovation activities on campus, promote the development of programming projects among university students, and provide a practical platform for students to participate in programming competitions, the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering and the School of Software will jointly organize the "22nd Hefei University of Technology Programming Competition and Selection for the 2026 Anhui Provincial Robot Competition-Programming Track." The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

I. Eligible Participants

Full-time undergraduate students of Hefei University of Technology (Hefei Campus) who enrolled in 2024 or 2025.

II. Competition Format

Individual participation, on-site programming.

The competition consists of 57 programming problems. Participants will be ranked comprehensively based on the number of problems solved, total time taken, and penalty time for incorrect submissions within a 3-hour time limit. The programming language allowed is C/C++.

III. Competition Schedule

1.Registration Period: From now until April 17, 2026

2.Registration Method: Join the QQ group using "Student ID-Name-College-Major".

3.Competition Date: Tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, 16:00-19:00

4.Competition Location: To be announced in the official QQ group. Only student ID cards are allowed at the venue.

5.Registration Fee: No fees will be charged to participating students.

IV. Important Notes

Due to limited computer lab seating, the number of participants is capped (no more than 90 students). Interested students are encouraged to register early. The final participant list will be announced in the QQ group before the competition.

V. Awards

This competition will award several first prizes, second prizes and third prizes. The specific number of each prize will be determined based on the number of participants in the on-site competition. The proportion is as follows: the first prize will not exceed 10% of the total number of participants, the second prize will not exceed 20%, and the third prize will not exceed 30%. Outstanding contestants will have the opportunity to participate in the Algorithm Track of the 2026 Anhui Province University Robot Competition (the specific name will be announced by the Anhui Provincial Education Department) and subsequent training activities.
