As core technologies of emerging engineering disciplines, big data and artificial intelligence have received significant attention from various industries and professional fields. To meet the needs of emerging engineering education, further enhance the application capabilities, data science thinking, practical skills, and collaboration abilities of our university's students in big data and AI, support the cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship awareness and teamwork spirit, enrich students' extracurricular scientific and technological cultural life, and create a favorable campus environment for scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship, the Academic Affairs Office, the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Hefei Big Data Asset Operations Co., Ltd., and Hefei Shusuan Technology Co., Ltd. will jointly organize the "2026 Hefei University of Technology Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Application Competition and Selection for the Anhui Provincial Competition." The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

I. Competition Content and Rules

The competition consists of two tracks: the Big Data Track and the Artificial Intelligence Track. The Big Data Track includes two categories: the On-Site Competition and the Creative Competition. The content is as follows:

1.Big Data Track

(1) On-Site Competition Category: Includes data platform deployment, big data preprocessing, big data analysis, big data visualization, and comprehensive applications.

(2) Creative Competition Category: Topics include big data and AI applications in education, healthcare, large model challenges, and other industry fields. Specific requirements are provided in Appendix 1.

2.Artificial Intelligence Track

Includes AI platform deployment, data preprocessing, and AI algorithm applications.

II. Eligible Participants

Full-time undergraduate and master's degree students of Hefei University of Technology.

III. Competition Schedule

1.Registration period: April 2-April 12, 2026

2.Competition dates: April 18-19, 2026 (specific schedule to be announced in the competition QQ group)

3.Location: HFUT Innovation and Entrepreneurship @ Big Data Center (Jade Lake Campus)

4.Registration method: Interested students should join the competition QQ group: 416759449

5.Facility access: If needed, participating students may apply for access to the Big Data Technology and Innovation Application Laboratory to use big data and artificial intelligence software, the GPU computing platform, and the Hefei Next-Generation Computing Cluster provided by Hefei Shusuan Technology Co., Ltd.

IV. Awards

Awards will be set as first, second, and third prizes (excluding invalid entries), with proportions of 10%, 20%, and 30% of valid teams, respectively.
