Eighty years of inheritance, shining brightly. On the occasion of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the university's founding, the school successfully held the "Face to Face, Recalling the Past, Mapping the Future - Excellent Industry Alumni Sharing Session" on September 20. The event invited five outstanding alumni to return to their alma mater, including Xin Zhenhe, Senior Program Group Director of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Gao Liang, Director of the Advanced Software Lab of Huawei Global Technical Service Department, Wu Liang, Chief Software Engineer of Microsoft Asia Internet Engineering Academy, Ou Ming, General Manager of Game Publishing at Anhui Letang Holding Group, and Xu Wenjin, General Manager of Hefei Liteng Information Technology Co., Ltd. Nian Yongqi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, Li Peipei, Vice Dean of Teaching, and nearly 100 teachers and students participated in the event together. Alumni Xin Zhenhe recalled that his experience in university project competitions laid a solid foundation for his career at Huawei; Alumni Gao Liang shared that the rigorous academic atmosphere of his alma mater shaped his scientific research spirit; Alumni Wu Liang thanked his alma mater for endowing him with an international vision and systematic thinking; Alumni Ou Ming talked about the enlightenment of the entrepreneurial atmosphere of his alma mater on his cross-border development; Alumni Xu Wenjin shared his entrepreneurial story of serving the local digital economy, reflecting the sense of responsibility of students to "repay society".

All the alumni expressed their best wishes for the 80th anniversary of their alma mater, thanked their teachers for their teachings, and sighed at the development of the university. Their profound affection for their alma mater infected every teacher and student present. Hu Suheng, a student of the 2023 grade majoring in Internet of Things Engineering, said emotionally: "I have benefited a lot from the sharing of the seniors. As a junior who is about to face graduation choices, I have gained more clarity and determination for the future from their sharing. I hope to follow in their footsteps and grow into the ideal version of myself." The alumni encouraged the younger students to cherish their time, inherit the school's characteristics of "solid engineering foundation, practical work style and strong entrepreneurial ability", and add luster to their alma mater in the future.
