I. Introduction to the School

The School of Computer Science and Information Engineering (School of Artificial Intelligence) originated from the Department of Radio Engineering established in 1958. In 1996, it was formed by the merger of the former Department of Computer Science and Information, the Computing Center, and the Microcomputer Institute, and was renamed the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering. In 2018, the School of Artificial Intelligence was established, which operates as one entity with the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering.

The school is an academic unit of Hefei University of Technology, comprising four departments and two centers: the Department of Computer Science and Technology, the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, the Department of Intelligent Science and Technology, and the Department of Computer Science and Information (Xuancheng Campus); as well as the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and the Experiment Center.

The school currently has two first-level discipline doctoral degree authorization points (Computer Science and Technology, Information and Communication Engineering), one professional doctoral degree program (Electronic Information), and three postdoctoral research stations (Computer Science and Technology, Information and Communication Engineering, Software Engineering). The school is home to several research platforms, including the Key Laboratory of Big Data Knowledge Engineering of the Ministry of Education, the Engineering Research Center of Safety-Critical Industrial Measurement and Control Technology of the Ministry of Education, the "Multi-Source Massive Dynamic Information Processing" Innovative Team of the Ministry of Education, the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory of Affective Computing and Advanced Intelligent Machines, the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory of Industrial Safety and Emergency Technology, and the National International Science and Technology Cooperation Base for Smart Elderly Care.

The "Computer Science" discipline ranks within the top 2‰ (two per thousand) globally in the ESI rankings, indicating a high international level and academic influence in the field of computer science research. Each year, the school undertakes dozens of research projects funded by national and provincial governments, as well as projects targeting key areas of the national economy, including the National Key R&D Program, the National 863 Program, the National 973 Program, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, projects for distinguished young scholars, projects for outstanding young scholars, and general projects. The annual research funding amounts to nearly 50 million RMB.

III. Recruitment Conditions

We recruit full-time postdoctoral fellows who are no more than 35 years old, have obtained their PhD degree within the past three years (for non-employed individuals), and possess a solid professional foundation and good research potential.

The main research directions include, but are not limited to, the following: Distributed and Embedded Systems, Data Mining and Big Data, Computer Graphics and Visualization, Computer Networks and Security, Computer Vision and Multimedia Computing, Intelligent Information Processing, Digital Image Processing and Analysis, Satellite Remote Sensing and Navigation Technology, Advanced Electromagnetic Function Manipulation Technology, Computer Vision and Smart Remote Sensing Monitoring, New Wireless Communication Technologies and Networks, Embedded Software Theory and Technology, Software Engineering Visualization Technology, Software Quality Assurance and Trustworthy Computing, etc.

V. Benefits and Support

(1) Salary and Remuneration

The university provides a basic annual salary of 250,000/350,000 RMB; those who receive the university's "Shangxin" Postdoctoral Special Allowance will enjoy a one-time reward of 80,000-300,000 RMB.

Support from the team/school: The school provides an additional development support allowance of 100,000 RMB per year for full-time postdoctoral fellows, based on existing policies.

In addition, cooperating supervisors can independently determine additional allowances based on the development of full-time postdoctoral fellows, with no upper limit.

(2) Research Support

a. Provides a research startup fund of no less than 50,000 RMB.
