As the core technologies of new engineering, big data and artificial intelligence have received attention from all walks of life and various professional fields. To meet the needs of the construction of new engineering majors, further improve the application ability, data science thinking, practical ability and teamwork ability of our university's school students in big data and artificial intelligence, help cultivate their awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship and team spirit, enliven their extracurricular scientific and technological cultural life, and create a good campus atmosphere for scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship, the Academic Affairs Office, HFUT Innovation and Entrepreneurship @ Big Data Center, School of Computer Science and Information Engineering and Hefei Big Data Asset Operation Co., Ltd. will hold the "2025 Hefei University of Technology Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Application Competition and the Selection Competition for the Anhui Provincial Competition" for all students of the university. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Competition Content and Rules

The competition is divided into the Big Data Track and the Artificial Intelligence Track. The Big Data Track is further divided into the On-site Competition and the Creative Competition. The competition content includes:

Big Data Track

On-site Competition: Including data platform deployment, big data preprocessing, big data analysis, big data visualization and comprehensive application, etc.

Creative Competition: Themes include the application of big data and artificial intelligence in the education field, the application of big data and artificial intelligence in the healthcare industry, big model competition questions and the application of big data and artificial intelligence in other industrial fields, etc. For specific requirements, see Appendix 1.

Artificial Intelligence Track

Including artificial intelligence platform deployment, data preprocessing, artificial intelligence algorithm application, etc.

2. Scope of Participating Students

Undergraduate and postgraduate students in school at Hefei University of Technology.

3. Competition Arrangement

Registration Time: May 26 to June 15, 2025

Competition Time: June 21-29 (specific details will be notified in the competition QQ group)

Competition Venue: HFUT Innovation and Entrepreneurship @ Big Data Center (Feicuihu Campus)

Registration Method: Interested students are invited to join the competition QQ group: 416759449

Participating students may apply for accommodation in the Big Data Technology and Innovation Application Laboratory if needed, and use the big data and artificial intelligence software, GPU computing power platform and the Chaohu Mingyue computing power cluster of Hefei Big Data Asset Operation Co., Ltd.

4. Award Setting

First, second and third prizes will be awarded according to the number of valid participating teams (the award ratios are 10%, 20% and 30% respectively).
